Social Media Manager

Right now, we’re looking for a Social Media Manager who gets the rhythm of the internet and can turn strategy into scroll-stopping execution.

The Role

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll live and breathe content. You’ll manage client socials end-to-end — from scheduling to reporting — with precision, pace and creativity. You’ll also help drive the voice of Fortem online, keeping us in the feed and in the conversation.

You’re a tactician, a visual thinker and a doer. You love getting in the trenches and making ideas happen.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing day-to-day social output for a portfolio of clients

  • Crafting social-first strategies that align with brand goals

  • Briefing shoots, planning content calendars and scheduling posts

  • Writing sharp copy that matches platform tone and trends

  • Collaborating with creative, brand and strategy for asset delivery

  • Reporting on performance with clear insights and actions

  • Staying plugged into trends, formats and emerging platform features

  • Supporting events and campaign rollouts on social

  • Attending client meetings and owning communication within your accounts

You Bring

  • 1–3 years experience managing social for brands or agencies

  • A strong grasp of Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and scheduling/reporting tools

  • Copywriting skills tailored to platform and tone

  • Strong organisational ability — planning calendars, meeting deadlines

  • Attention to detail and a genuine care for quality

  • Creative flair with a commercial mindset

As our Senior Creative, you’re not just executing, you’re shaping the vision. You’ll lead projects end-to-end, mentor rising talent, and collaborate deeply with the wider creative and strategy teams to craft campaigns that aren’t just seen, but remembered.

You’re a visual storyteller, a technical expert, and a strategic thinker. But above all, you’re obsessed with doing work that matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading high-impact creative projects from concept through to delivery.

  • Shooting and editing full-funnel campaign content across various formats.

  • Collaborating closely with our Lead Creative and Account Managers to align strategy with execution.

  • Mentoring Junior Creatives—guiding with intention, not just direction.

  • Building campaign concepts and pitches that cut through the noise.

  • Driving innovation within our workflow and processes—suggesting and actioning improvements that elevate the entire studio.

You Bring

  • 4–6 years’ experience in a creative, agency or production environment.

  • A portfolio that shows more than aesthetic—it shows purpose, energy and excellence.

  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and industry-standard gear.

  • Strength in visual storytelling—both behind the lens and in post-production.

  • A proactive approach to leadership and collaboration.

  • A pulse on cultural trends and creative innovations—and the ability to apply them authentically.

As our Lead Creative, you’re not just shooting and editing. You’re owning the output. You’ll direct high-scale projects from ideation to delivery, work alongside Account Managers and Sales to shape campaigns, and be the go-to for creative execution in the room.

You’re someone who thrives under pressure, pushes the brief, and knows how to elevate a creative team — not just yourself.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the execution of creative projects — concept to delivery

  • Directing shoots and editing high-quality content that hits client objectives

  • Managing post-production across key campaigns — sound, colour, delivery

  • Driving collaboration between creative, accounts, and strategy

  • Mentoring Junior Creatives and leading by example

  • Supporting pitches with fresh campaign ideas and visuals

  • Holding weekly creative meetings and campaign deconstructs

The Role

As our Digital Strategist, you’ll be the engine behind the numbers. You’ll lead campaign strategy across Meta, Google and beyond — optimising with intent, scaling with precision, and reporting with clarity. You’ll collaborate closely with creative, sales and brand to craft strategies that deliver both ROAS and real momentum.

You’re technical, analytical, and visionary — but above all, you’re obsessed with growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end paid media strategy across Meta, Google and other key platforms

  • Executing full-funnel campaigns aligned with business objectives

  • Delivering performance targets with 5%+ CTRs and 4+ ROAS

  • Rolling out tactical initiatives during key sales periods (Black Friday, EOFY, etc.)

  • Collaborating with creative to develop high-converting ad content

  • Providing sharp monthly reports, insights and actionable next steps

  • Optimising live campaigns through A/B testing and real-time data

  • Staying plugged into the algorithm shifts, trends and tools that give us the edge

  • Supporting Fortem’s own internal ad campaigns and case study development

You Bring

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a digital/performance marketing role

  • A portfolio of campaigns that drove real growth and meaningful results

  • Deep knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and analytics tools

  • The ability to speak both numbers and creative fluently

  • Strong copywriting and landing page critique skills

  • A strategic mindset with a performance obsession

  • Curiosity, agility, and hunger for what’s next
